An exercise in short form copywriting with a focus on local people and humour.
We wanted to get away from the run of the mill price and item ads and move towards a more personal and fun approach.
Here’s two examples plus a radio ad below.
For the social campaign, we trawled through excel spread sheets detailing county by county, month by month sales data to pinpoint local ‘irregularities’.

Cavan bought the most light bulbs in Ireland last February.
They just love a good fry.
So much so that they bought the most sausages, eggs, bacon and beans of all the counties in Ireland.
Kildare folk buy the least amount of peas.
Seriously though, we need to sort this.
