Tasked with writing new radio for last years Impossible Choices Christmas campaign, we used the style of hectic fast pasted supermarket radio ad’s as a way of presenting the impossible choices many families face each year. This 30 second radio won bronze at the 2022 ICADs for best radio under 30 seconds.

A reimagining of the classic ‘Jingle Bells’ to portray what Christmas can really be like for some.

This radio spot ran back in March 2020. It was a surreal time, even a knock on the door could send the mind into a frenzy of questions “who is it? can I answer the door? and so on. But for many people living below the poverty line, the shock of a knock on the door never goes away.
